The founder
Built for the community, by the community.
My name is Chris. I'm a dedicated father, born and raised in Louisville and proud to still call it home. By trade I'm an IT Systems Engineer, and I've spent years building and maintaining the infrastructure that keeps businesses running, and I wanted to put that same experience to work for the people around me. So I built it.
I know times are hard. I live it. I see it in my community every day. People have things they need to sell, things they need to buy, skills they can trade. But the platforms built to connect us take too much, charge too often, and care too little.
ChrisList started as a simple idea: what if a marketplace actually put people first? Local only ads. No scammers. And a fun way to discover the cool things your community wants to get rid of. Think of this as an intermediary between your local flea market (shout-out Flea Off) and your typical Etsy storefront.
This is a tool I'm building to help my neighbors, my city, and anyone else who wants to work together instead of against each other. We're stronger when we trade locally, trust each other, and lift each other up.
This is for us. For the community. Let's build something good.

Community first
Built for neighbors, not shareholders. Every decision puts real people ahead of profit.
Built on trust
Real people, real listings. Trust scores, verified profiles, and a community that holds each other accountable.
Local only ads
No sponsored posts, no algorithmic noise. Every listing you see is from a real person in your community.
